Our Services to Individuals and Families
Emergency Treatment: If you or a person in your household is experiencing a medical problem, you can call us anytime, day or night, to come to you.

If you are a member of one of our health plans, all you have to do is give us your membership number. We will already have visited your home and know where you live, and we will have a record of your medical condition and any allergies.

Upon arrival the paramedics will first assess and stabilize the situation. Often a doctor will be consulted by telephone. In many cases the patient can be treated in the comfort of his or her home.

If hospitalization is required, the appropriate hospital will be contacted and prepared to meet the ambulance. During transport a paramedic will provide professional care and monitoring, keeping in touch with the doctor and the hospital.

Non-emergency medical transport: You may call on us to transport you via ambulance to visit your doctor or hospital, or to bring you home from a stay in the hospital.

At Home Paramedic Treatment: Our paramedics will follow up after every incident, and will visit you in your home as often as necessary to monitor your condition, give you medicines, take blood samples, etc. The paramedic will consult with a doctor via telephone in determining your treatment.

At Home Doctor Visits: We can arrange for our doctor to treat you in your home, a service you are not likely to get in North America or Europe at almost any price.

Walk-in Office Visits: You may come to our office in Atenas at any time for monitoring and/or treatment by one of our paramedics. The paramedic may consult with our doctor via telephone in determining your treatment.

Office Doctor Visits: You may schedule an appointment to see our general practitioner in our office in Atenas.

Annual Physical: Our doctor will give you an annual check up in our office in Atenas, including a physical examination, laboratory tests, an EKG of your heart, etc.

Telephone Consultation: You may speak by telephone with an English-speaking paramedic or doctor.

Referral Service: If necessary we will refer you to the best specialist for your medical needs. Our relationships with doctors and hospitals insures priority care for our patients.

Hospice Care: In the case of a patient at home with a terminal condition, our paramedics will visit as often as necessary to administer pain medication and make the person as comfortable as possible.

Our Pricing
The per call prices for non members are shown below. Memberships are by residence and there are two types: basic and premium. Members receive priority in the event of conflicting demands for service.

Basic Membership: Under this plan your residence pays a monthly fee of $20, and receives a substantial discount on the per call rates (see table below). This is the plan recommended for households who do not expect to require much medical attention, but who want to be prepared for emergencies and have insurance to cover unexpected high costs.

Premium Membership: Under this plan the monthly per residence fee is $50, but there are no other charges, no matter how much service is required. This is the plan recommended for individuals or families who expect to need frequent home or office visits.
